EXCLUSIVE : Fox is taking to the dancefloor with a remake of La La Land -influenced British format Flirty Dancing . The U.S. network has ordered a pilot of a local version of the format, which originated, and is currently airing on Britain’s Channel 4 . It is the latest international format for the broadcaster following the success of Asian entertainment format The Masked Singer . The show will be produced by Second Star , which produces the original, and All3Media America. Second Star, which is run by former Sky exec Deborah Sargeant, is part of Objective Media Group . Sargeant will exec produce alongside former Big Brother Executive Editor Tamsin Dodgson and Objective Media Group America’s Jilly Pearce. International Bloodstock Agent Hubie De Burgh kicked off the annual National Yearling Sale with a bang and he has ended his four-day visit to New Zealand on a similar note. De Burgh outlaid $500,000 for an I Am Invincible filly early on day one at Karaka and he matched that figure when he purchased Lot 657, a Savabeel colt out of O'Reilly mare Cupid from the Waikato Stud draft. The colt is a three-quarter brother to Waikato Stud's $1.4 million sale-topping Savabeel/Make A Wish colt, a fact that wasn't lost on De Burgh. "He is closely related to the $1.4 million colt, who is a beautiful horse that we wanted to buy, but I didn't have that sort of chequebook," he said.
