Writer, director and editor Ravikanth Perepu, who last directed the films Kshanam (2016) and Krishna and his Leela (2020), has announced his upcoming directorial, which stars debutant Roshan Kanakala in the lead role. Roshan Kanakala is the son of actor Rajeev Kanakala and television anchor Suma Kanakala. Ravikanth is also writing the film, along with Vishnu Kondur and Seri-Ganni.  The project was announced on the birthday of Roshan. Taking to social media to share birthday wishes along with the film's first look, Ravikanth writes, "Wishing the happiest of birthdays to our Roshan Kanakala.
