I'm Available': GoldenEye Star Wants a Female 007 in Next James Bond Movie - CBR

It's time to go in a new direction with 007 for Bond 26 according to one franchise star. Famke Janssen, who played a villain opposite Pierce Brosnan in GoldenEye, has even volunteered herself for the role.

In GoldenEye, the first film to feature Brosnan as James Bond, Janssen played the memorable villain Xenia Onatopp. While speaking with Screen Rant in a new interview to promote her newest movie, Boy Kills World, Janssen shared her thoughts on where the James Bond character should be taken in the future of the franchise. Notably, she wants to see a female 007, making it clear she'd be happy to take on the part.
